Course Overview

Have you always wanted to create drawings using AutoCAD software? This Technical Drawing with AutoCAD course is designed to equip learners with the essential skills and knowledge required for interpreting, creating, and implementing technical drawings and specifications in various professional contexts. This course covers a wide range of topics, including AutoCAD software usage, and design documentation creation based on relevant industry standards.

By the end of the course, you will have a strong foundation in technical drawing and AutoCAD, enabling you to excel in your respective industries and contribute to the development of new designs and prototypes.

ACAD Pte Ltd is an Authorized Training Centre of Autodesk and offers WSQ-accredited certification programs. This course is eligible for SSG funding of up to 70% for eligible COMPANIES and INDIVIDUALS.

Minimum requirement: Basic Computer Knowledge

Anyone who is interested in learning AutoCAD Software with minimal or no prior experience.

WSQ Technical Drawing with AutoCAD is a SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) accredited program.

1) Upon successful completion, learners will receive a Statement of Attainment (SOA) in Skills Framework aligned Industry & Generic Skills SOAs.

2) Trainees who complete this course with 75% attendance will also be awarded an Authorized Certificate by Autodesk.

The learning units are sequenced from a ‘Simple to Complex’ approach starting from AutoCAD basic functions such as reading and visualizing AutoCAD technical drawings (LU1). Next, the curriculum will cover AutoCAD intermediate functions such as creating part lists for new designs and the production of technical drawings and specifications. Lastly, the curriculum will cover AutoCAD's advanced functions such as 2D and 3D technical drawings and the development of design prototypes.

This course is SkillsFuture Eligible (for Singaporeans).

In order to be eligible for SSG funding, you are required to pass the assessment.

You will not be eligible for funding if you fail the module. However, you are allowed 1 assessment retake. You will be eligible for funding if you pass the retake. Should you fail the assessment on the second attempt, you will be required to pay the net course fee.
